Trekking and hiking the 2.850-meter-high Tembesi Crater Rim, which is nearer the New Volcano Gunung Baru Jari and the tallest crater rim in Rinjani National Park, is an exhilarating experience.

Hiking Rinjani from Timbanuh, which is 750 meters above sea level, to the 2,850-meter edge of the Tembesi crater, camping between Gunung Baru Jari and Lake Segara Anak, enjoying the sunset from your tent, and then heading back to Timbanuh and Tetebatu are all part of this trip.
